چکیده
Despite our oppostion to a deadline, we agree humanity must find and implement alternatives to DDT as quickly as possible. To be satisfactory, these alternatives must be: (1) equally effective, (2) equally inexpensive, and (3) able to replace DDT wherever it is now used or may be needed in the future for malaria control. This will require scientific and technical resources that developing countries lack, but which Western countries can offer.

متن کاملDDT risk assessments.
Two recent articles in EHP (1,2) and the latest Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry toxicologic profile for DDT (3) make repeated references to DDT risks. These statements of risk, like so many others, are one-sided and give no consideration to colossal increases in diseases previously controlled with DDT. Behind disease statistics are grievous human tragedies, as with the case of ...

The planners of the war chose Basra as the battlefield and the Imam led an army towards Basra. Because the Imam's character was based on conversation, clarification, not to initiate war, and ultimatum before the war, he organi...
